2026 Military & Veterans Initiative applications
BBB Institute is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Military & Veterans Initiative program (MVI) and we are inviting candidates to apply. If you, or a member of your team, are interested in participating, we’d love to hear from you! This program is made possible by PayPal in partnership with the Association of Military Banks of America.
Are you passionate about supporting veterans, service members, and their families? Do you want to make a tangible difference in their lives by helping them thrive in the marketplace? If so, this program is tailor-made for you. The Military & Veterans Initiative (MVI) is a train-the-trainer program designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and materials necessary to empower military service members, military spouses, and veterans.
Those who will most benefit from MVI are those who:
- Perform community outreach, including presentations, workshops, etc.
- Have a passion for community outreach and would like to educate the public about signs of financial fraud and how to protect themselves.
- Seek to:
- Sharpen their presentation skills and add to their library of consumer-focused materials.
- Gain the expertise needed to empower service members, military spouses, and veterans within their community.
- Receive comprehensive tools and content designed to address the real-life needs of the military community.
- Connect with fellow trainers and professionals who share your dedication to supporting those who have served our country.
- Participate in seven monthly virtual training sessions (February 2026 – August 2026; approximately 1.5 hrs. each)
- Participate in monthly virtual small group feedback sessions (30-minute sessions)
- Report program outreach activities a minimum of once per month for 2 years
