BBB Institute Welcomes Two New Board Members
We are thrilled to welcome Matthew Fehling and Steven Lepper to our BBB Institute for Marketplace Trust Board of Directors! As president and CEO of the BBB Serving the Pacific Southwest, Matthew Fehling leads one of the most active BBBs in the country. He is an innovative thinker who introduced ignite sparked by BBB, a first-of-its-kind business and community center offeringcoworking and collaboration spaces in Phoenix and San Diego to provide the tools businesses need to grow with integrity. With the support of incredible community partners and industry experts, Matthew’s vision spearheaded the first BBB business accelerator program, Empower by GoDaddy in partnership with ignite sparked by BBB, that has now graduated more than 250 entrepreneurs and counting. He is an exceptional leader who will play a critical role in expanding BBB Institute’s efforts to build better businesses.
Steven Lepper is the president and CEO of the Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA). A retired Major General, Steven has been working for decades to empower military consumers to protect themselves from fraud and build solid economic futures. Most recently, he led efforts to launch the Veterans Benefits Banking Program, which helps veterans, their beneficiaries and caregivers by offering financial services to help achieve greater financial independence, resiliency, and literacy. Steven is a former BBB Institute board member who served on our Advisory Board for upcoming BBB Scam Recovery Toolkit. He is an engaged and active leader who can guide BBB Institute in building a robust program for military consumers.
