BBB Institute welcomes three new board members
BBB Institute is thrilled to welcome three new members to its Board of Directors: Shweta Chaubey, founder of S. Chaubey Law, Kami Hoskins, Of Counsel, Spencer Fane LLP, and Marcus Mayo, founder and CEO of Continuum Companies, Inc.
“The BBB Institute Board is pleased to announce the addition of three new members who offer unique expertise and knowledge that will be instrumental in furthering our mission,” said BBB Institute Chairman of the Board Parag Shah. “We look forward to working alongside them and are excited about the contributions they will make.”
Ms. Chaubey’s law practice focuses on business transactions, trademarks, and general business advisory. She guides businesses through various stages of growth by advising on appropriate legal structures, intellectual property protection, contract negotiations, and sale and acquisition of businesses. She has demonstrated expertise at executing large transactions as well as assisting small business owners in getting their ventures off the ground by handholding them through day-to-day legal issues. Ms. Chaubey is an internationally experienced attorney licensed to practice in New York, Ohio, and India.
Ms. Hoskins is an attorney dedicated to creating and implementing effective resolutions to complex legal issues for a variety of clients with an emphasis in Labor and Employment. She has managed sustainability projects, including ESG reporting and social impact programming for entrepreneurs for a large technology company. Ms. Hoskins is also an accomplished legal educator who has taught topics in employment law, anti-harassment, compliance, bankruptcy, implicit bias, mindful communication, and team building. She was the State Bar of Arizona’s Lawyer of the Month in 2019. She was selected as a Top 100 Lawyer in Arizona in 2018 and 2020 by AZ Business Magazine. She proudly serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley.
Mr. Mayo is the CEO and founder of Continuum Companies, Inc. a private equity backed, integrated platform company that provides property management and residential services to Homeowner Associations and Multi Family residential communities. Continuum has become one of the largest property management and residential service companies in the United States serving nearly 2,500 communities, over 225,000 doors, across its twenty brands. Prior to starting Continuum, Mr. Mayo was an investment professional at a New York-based private equity firm where he focused on investments in the business services and consumer sectors. He also served as a consultant for McKinsey & Company, where he served Fortune 500 clients including some of the world’s largest consumer, transportation, and business services corporations. Mr. Mayo is an honors graduate of Morehouse College. He is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and trustee of his church. He and his wife are proud parents of three children.
